The procedure is performed under general anesthesia at an accredited surgical facility, typically taking 3.5 to 5 hours depending on the complexity of your case. Dr. Atagi removes excess tissue and skin while preserving as much sensation as possible.
Aftercare
Recovery involves wearing a supportive surgical bra and limiting lifting and strenuous activities for two weeks. After two weeks, you can gradually begin resuming your usual exercise and activities without restriction. Most patients return to work within one to two weeks. While some scarring is inevitable with breast reduction, Dr. Atagi’s meticulous technique minimizes scarring, and we provide silicone products to help further minimize and fade scars.
Results
