I don’t write many reviews but if this one can help even one woman, it will serve its purpose. Having been told by other doctors that there was nothing wrong with me despite my physical and emotional suffering, Dr. Kohli assured me he would do everything he could to find the root cause of my pain. That alone helped give me hope that I might get my life back. With compassion and patience he listened to me and what I had been living through. After a few visits, I was on the road to recovery. During this time, I was even more fortunate to meet Kristen, Dr. Kohli’s PA who offered me info on hormone replacement as a possibility- the missing piece to full recovery. A year later, I can say that I have my life back and if I had not found this office, I’m pretty certain I would still be trying to find help. I believe most of my issue was perimenopause related but no other doctor was considering that as the reason for my symptoms. I saw a doctor at New England Center for Urogynecology once on 12/28/23. At that visit, I handed over my insurance card and ID like any normal patient would. Fast-forward a few months, and I receive a full bill — with zero mention of my insurance. I assumed it was a simple oversight, so I called the office and gave them my insurance info again. Big mistake thinking this would be resolved easily. Since then, I have spoken to their billing company ELEVEN times. Yes, eleven. I’ve resent my insurance card by email, confirmed it over the phone multiple times, and have basically been forced to act as the go-between for a billing department that can’t seem to do the bare minimum. It’s now been nearly two years of dealing with this nightmare — and I’ve never encountered such blatant incompetence and disorganization in a medical office’s billing process. See attached photos of emails between the billing dept as well as the harassment after posting this review. I would NEVER recommend this office based on this experience alone. I’ve never been more frustrated with a company in my life. Save yourself the time, energy, and rage — go literally anywhere else. As of today (7/29/25) I just spoke with Dora from the billing dept and she stated she submitted to my insurance - lets see if this actually happens. Absolute insanity what ive had to do to make sure these folks are actually doing their job!!!! UPDATE: The dr called and left a voicemail apologizing - stating it was an error of the billing dept. Though to be fair his receptionist should have made sure the billing department had my insurance information to start with. THE BILLING DEPT THEN CALLED MY CELL 6 TIMES BETWEEN 11:58a and 5:35p harassing me asking to remove my Google review! They left 3 voicemails in addition to the dr leaving one as well. This is borderline harassment and they should be ashamed! I had to block their numbers as they would call sometimes back to back while I was on work calls. After consulting with numerous specialists without a diagnosis, Dr. Kohli provided the clarity and comprehensive care I had been seeking for months. His clinical expertise, attention to detail, and genuine concern for his patients are truly exceptional. His staff are equally commendable—consistently professional, courteous, and supportive. I had an appointment in 2023, which was ok. The real difficulties began after I received a bill. I paid the amount in two transactions in 2024 on the portal that is listed on THEIR bill. They have continued to send me the bill as if I had not paid, even though I have emailed and mailed hard copies of the receipts, and have called them. I was forced to report them to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General’s office. They completely ignored the request to deal with the issue from the BBB. I will be continuing to report their practices to consumer protection agencies Be careful when choosing a provider as this apathy reflects on their character. Nightmare of a process scheduling appointments. I’ve called consistently over weeks and received very little updates. Even though my insurance sent me a letter confirming everything was approved April 7th, I didn’t receive any calls or confirmation and even when I called post April 7th I was told everything was still up in the air. I had to push to book an appointment since they were not willing to let me book one, citing my insurance hadn’t approved the medication (a lie). When I finally saw the letter from my insurance and called, I was told everything was booked out—which wouldn’t have happened if they had actually called me as soon as my insurance went though, which was what they promised. And in the MONTHS this took my symptoms have obviously worsened dramatically. Dr Kohli is kind, experienced, and knowledgeable. The staff are friendly and quick to respond to calls and messages. I had severe bladder issues for years and was referred to Neeraj Kohli to find answers, relief, treatment but no he insisted on expensive laser procedures, trigger point injections requiring a hospital visit with anesthesia. My experience with Dr. Kohli and Kristin, his PA, was nothing less than spectacular . I’ve been saddled with a troublesome condition for many years. I didn’t believe him when he said he could help me. He did surgery, and as I told him, it was life-altering. My quality of life has increased more than I can even put into words.
